At the beginning of the 2009-2010 Academic Year, the GMA was short of members but through our application process we have improved the board resulting in high operational efficiency with extremely qualified members. The Graduate Management Association will be present today at the Annual Saunders Picnic in the Saunders Plaza between 3:30PM and 6:00PM. Join us and the rest of the College for Food, Music & Fun.

A message from our former GMA President, Miguel Llano:

GMA members and friends,

Many of you may know that I am a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA). The New York Chapter is holding a “Night of Achievement” for 2009 Graduates. I believe that if you are still in the area, this may be a great event for you to attend. I have personally been working on this event with the assistance of Iveth Reynolds, one of the panelist from the networking panel GMA had last fall. I know that there should be some recruiters from area business looking to meet some talented MBAs as well as opening comments from Mayor Duffy.

NSHMBA is a diversity organization and this event is open to all. For recent MBA grads this is a great opportunity to network and be recognized for your accomplishments. For 2nd year MBA students, this is a great chance to get some information on the NSHMBA national conference, which is the second largest MBA career fair in the US (nothing like RIT’s career fair).
